So, you may be wondering, with all my ranting about cheap swag, if there are times I agree that your frugality is appropriate. There are!
1- Sunglasses. If you are at an outdoor event, parade, or festival, sunglasses are a great cheap giveaway. People love them. They appreciate receiving them. And, they don’t get thrown out immediately. When you can buy cheap sunglasses for under $5.00 each, it’s a win-win!
2- Pens. There is, however, a caveat. Cheap pens come in all forms and many times identical pens can come from different factories…good ones and bad ones. They can weigh too much or too little. They can be too thick or too thin. But, there are a million options for pens that are great and useful for under $1.00 each.
3- T-shirts. T-shirts are like the magic ingredient to a team event, company party or overall solidarity in anything. We all have a drawer dedicated to t-shirts, it will be years before we don’t want them anymore and even when that happens, we wear them camping, hiking or mowing the lawn. Even when they’re old, they still represent your company! Good shirts can be purchased from $5-$10 each and are one of the best investments you can make in swag.
